“The Prop-Jack is a clever solution and an elegant design. It’s lightweight, and easily and effortlessly manipulated with one hand. I can literally tighten or loosen this thing with one finger! The way it holds itself in place means you can make little adjustments here and there without it falling into the body of the guitar. That feature also makes it handy for dry runs for complicated clamping. The rubber feet are firm enough to stay put, but soft enough to not leave any marks behind. Both sizes are useful on their own, but I’ve found a set of four gets me in and out of even the most complicated internal repairs. These are a joy to use!”

Ya, I saw this on the tube and hoped it might lead to info on re-setting a banjo neck The really hard thing to find is anything on re-setting a banjo neck. There is a blog online where someone posted, with pictures, about how he did one by hand. Also, your vid with William Seeders Mossheim talking about resets was interesting but there is no vid content of anyone actually doing one. I spoke with Andy Fitzgibbons of Laurel Mountain Machine Works on this and he said same thing. Very little out there. The thing is, I’ve got one to do on a banjo with resonator and co-ordinator rods. Great hand skills necessary as tiered, radial angles. I’m going for it and hope it’s not a mess……….
