Apprentice and then staff luthier for a full service acoustic music shop focusing heavily on serving the Bluegrass community. Full service guitar repair focused on vintage instruments. Neck resets etc. Guitar factory work. Started in stringup, which was assembly, fretting and dial in. Worked in finish department and body department. At one point there was a misguided attempt to have me try to manage a few departments. This ended in disaster with my termination. Restoration of used guitars. Repair and restoration of used guitars.
