I ordered a guitar from Reverb, and when (RedNex) delivered it, it was obvious they had dropped it in transit. The seller filed a claim, and got reimbursed for the instrument, then told me I could just keep it.
Now for my question: how would you repair the sunken strap button and ugly gouge on the back of the guitar?

More upgrades.
I added a neck mini-humbucker and 3-way toggle for more tonal options. The 3-way blade is series/parallel/split for the bridge. Cheap guitars = cheap fun.

TransTint or ColorTone dyes with TruOil
Has anyone had any experience using a color dye in TruOil? And if so, how did it work for you? I have been dying an electric bass body with Rit black dye, but once the TruOil started going on, the color started moving around leaving lighter spots. Any thoughts or advice?
