    Vintage Guild pickup removal trouble

    Anybody have experience with these 70’s Guild pickups? Been fighting to remove it, but haven’t had any luck after an hour or so. The strap button acts like a jacket for the input jack, and there’s not enough of a fixture to grab ahold of from the inside. All I can achieve is a spin.

    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi KT, It looks like the nut threads onto the jack from the inside. At one time they were all installed that way. You need to loosen the nut from the inside of the guitar with one of these…
