Tightening a Fender Knob?

Hello!

Unsure of the “wordage” for this issue. And I’m assuming this has been discussed.

Any way of stiffening the volume knob on a Strat? Client keeps bumping it while playing and turning down the volume.

Does a rubber washer between the knob and guard work that well? Maybe I’m missing a common fix.

    I think the term you are looking for is ‘high friction’ .
