I ordered a guitar from Reverb, and when (RedNex) delivered it, it was obvious they had dropped it in transit. The seller filed a claim, and got reimbursed for the instrument, then told me I could just keep it.

Now for my question: how would you repair the sunken strap button and ugly gouge on the back of the guitar?

My finish repair skills are not the greatest (aka – non-existent) so any opinions are welcome.

It is a new Cozart tenor guitar, and appears to be a poly finish (a bit on the thick side.) This will be a repair practice instrument, but was curious if anyone had any guidance on how to begin.

Do you have access to fill-n-finish ? I would think fill-n-finish with the Gluboost black would be appropriate on this guitar.

At this time, I do not. It is something I have never used before. But I am open to purchasing.
