    Oh yes! I got a recipe from Steve @R_Guitars for fretboard conditioning! I’ve been using it for a little while with lovely results. I don’t remember the exact ingredients, but it’s a 3-part recipe, 2 of those, 1 of those…. I’ll look at the bottles when I get back to the shop, unless Steve hops in here faster than that!

    I got some PolyX after that interaction and have finished a couple of my stick dulcimers with it. I love the effect, it has a nice (for my purposes/tastes at least) darkening effect and is very forgiving to apply. It’s a slow cure, though, and I could see various uses for the modified version.
