Required 30 minutes of heating with the Ian Davlin design heat sticks at 3 amps, periodically removing one and injecting a few cc’s of water. You can see from the burn marks I missed the location of the outer edge of the dovetail. When it finally lets go the neck tips up, but does pop out because there is glue under the “tongue”.

Paddle foot! I have one of those and am glad to know that it has that type of neck joint. Ive only come across it once before years ago on an early 80’s J185 I think it was but I couldnt swear to it.

Found one of those joins when resetting a 1990 Gibson J-100, fun times hahaha

Yeah I found one on a Custom Shop Wren Ferguson early 90’s model. PIA!!!
