  Floyd Rose Special Replacement Parts

  I’m in the process of setting up a Parker (PDF-80 Maxx Fly Floyd Rose Special; Early-2010s) and one of the Floyd Rose saddles (G string) are stripped.   Interestingly when I went to swap it out I noticed the parts were significantly different so wanted to post on here in case anyone else ever has this issue. I did some quick googling and realized it would be a better move to upgrade to steel parts vs. the zinc alloy anyway, thanks to this great post someone else shared: https://www.jcfonline.com/forum/equipment/tech-q-a/159205-floyd-rose-special-saddle-upgrade

  Posting photos to show the stark difference in old vs. new “Special” saddles in hopes of saving someone else the time in the future. If you gotta replace one saddle, you’re stuck replacing them all and might as well upgrade to steel if your customer can afford.
