This was a large bed frame with end tables built almost entirely from sold boards from “The Tree”. Having been a bed frame with cabinets and drawers there are lots of fastener holes and such to work around. According to some educated sleuthage and measuring using guitar templates, I estimate that there are 6-8 back and side sets with no holes or defects to be had with careful resawing. More sets for sure if a builder is willing to artfully work around the faster holes.

I’ve only posted a single pic showing the biggest of the boards, there quite a bit more than is seen in the pic. If you have any interest I can send more pics with some dimensions. I’m selling this as a package and will not sell individual boards. Price is negotiable and will certainly net the right person a great deal on some beautiful guitar sets.

Please contact me through The Looth Group if interested.

Holy hell, that’s unreal! Can’t believe someone used so much of the Tree for furniture.

    • me too, happened many years ago though, built for a major Nor Cal drug dealer at the time, he had to leave the country and gave the bed to the guy he’d paid huge bucks to make it….for the small favor of breaking into his house, retrieving “an envelope” from a secret compartment the bed had and sending it to the dealer before he disappeared.

Remarkable – if you would like – we can list this for sale on The Luthier Bench (www.luthierbench.com) and have the price hidden and allow potential Buyers to reach out privately to you – we can also spread it through our Luthier workshop system. Let us know if you would like to set that up.
