What does it look like with naptha on it ? If it isn’t darker than surrounding territory and you aren’t in a hurry to deliver, I’d opt for the respray rebuff.

After installing purfling and bindings I noticed a black dot on one of the maple lines— and right at the florentine point! It’s not sanding out. Bummer.
