Ooh, definitely following this thread. I’ve been planning on making such a spreadsheet for YEARS.

They’re next to impossible to remove without destroying them if they’ve been installed with super glue, so you’ll probably have to replace it outright. Which strings was the customer complaining about sounding unbalanced? K&K recommends installing the treble side pickup directly in front of the high E pin hole, rather than between the two, but even then, the high E can often be a little quieter than the rest with these pickups.

Hey there. I’m only seeing four speakers listed as “active” on the Fender Dealer portal currently (23 or so if you check “show inactive), none of which match those specs exactly. They sometimes have parts available that aren’t listed on the dealer portal, but those are generally reserved for warranty repairs only, in my experience.

I’ve been meaning to try those particular ones. I bought a very cheap one off Amazon awhile back, but I had issues with scorching, like you described. It also didn’t last long, the handle started melting where the power cord attached the third time I used it, and I had to throw it out. It came in box with the words “Go to change your life” printed on the side of it. If by “change my life” they meant “almost burn your shop down”, then they were right on the money.
