        First re-fret

I’ve just removed my first set of frets and I have a decently sized chip in the board now. What are my options here? It’s not small enough to be hidden under the fret. How do you guys usually handle chips?

This is an excellent question ! You’ve put it in the timeline, which is totally cool, but it might get lost as time goes by. If you could move it to the forum, it might be better. Here is the link to the correct forum.

Matching sawdust in the chip and drop in thin CA glue works great, if you’re sanding the fingerboard you might get enough sawdust to fill what you need. Adding a barrier in the fret slot helps with clean up. Good luck!
