This came into the shop. I did some research and the intranet said either “mis-identified” or “extremely rare”. I’m going with extremely rare because I believe the label is legit and is extremely clear. Any other Japanese guitar collectors like me? Anybody else see anything like this? It’s pretty cool. Made between 1958 and 1961.

Hi folks, Any recommendations on compressor for air brush and air gun? I bought airbrush and airgun from StewMac during sale. Gotta get the finish dept. up and running. Thanks!

You are going to want one that is oil free, and if you are going to be working near it, quiet. Make sure you install a good inline moisture trap and moisture filter. I use a California Air tools model, and am happy with it.

Any chance of getting the Tricorner T shirt in 100% cotton? I dearly love the shirt but am afraid of having it melt to my body in an elevator fire…….🔥

A question for all you repair folks working out of your home: The insurance industry is basically pulling out of California. Our homeowners insurance policy was just cancelled because I have a business in my home, probably because I have foot traffic. Repair only, no retail. My shop is in a detached garage. New Gibson L-00 retro with whimpy bridge

It had buzzing issues as well because saddle was low and neck angle is actually high (straight edge is 5/32 above bridge). Previous looth tried…

Switch out output jack on an active P Bass?
Hi Gang, Has anyone switched out the plastic, 8 pin box output 18 volt active/battery switch output jack on a P Bass special for a standard TRS output jack or some other? I just got off the phone with Fender and they don’t make this anymore and they recommend replacing with another plastic box from Molex and are sending a wiring diagram. …

Please share your processes for cracks that need splints
Hi Sean,
Agree 100%………However (does there always have to be a however?), I think it needs to start even before the customer receives, purchases etc. their instruments. And information needs to be tailored to specific areas (like the “known to cause cancer” warnings required in Cali). With the advent of the majority of instruments…
