I find Urethane glue to be the least visible. It cures yellow.
I have had to paint over pitch pickets.
I would fit it and compress in the patch with clamping pressure.
Then paint over it to get it as invisible as I could.

For those of you who have been looking for an ES2 replacement, I'm using a Goacousticaudio replacement directly into Protools. There's hardly any guitar bleed in the vocal mic. I like this setup...

So nice to spend time with so many of your last thursday. One topic we discussed was installing our system in a older ESs with AA battery boxes.
We made up this conversion which could be used with other installations a well.

I would love to see some one play and ES against Goaa without adjusting for vol. And put the top right in the speaker to compare feed back resistance.

Another trick you can try is. Clamp a 1/4 inch of back bow into the neck and run the cyano into the fret slots.
Let it cure for a day.
You will find the neck can even be Back bowed afterwards. If so heard the fret wire with any iron and the cyano will vaporize until the neck straightens.

Yes, I worked at Gruhn’s when Kim was the foreman.
I made the first resonator guitars for Klugh in 92. It was a sound introduced to him by Chet who learned of it from Nato Lima.
On Feb 15th 1995 I had these 2 legends in my living room.

Chet was so influenced by Nato. Nato had the most incredible vibrato and chet adopted vibrato on chords from Nato rather than use a vibrato arm.

I have removed the minerals with vinegar.
I used a tooth brush.
I do not remember if I neutralized the acidity before finishing. Likely just sanded over it.
