In search of an Epiphone FT-130 (similar to FT-140 and FT-150) bridge with adjustable saddle for a client. Current market is seemingly tapped out, and replacements found online are simply too wide and bulky looking replicas fabricated overseas. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This bridge is off a 1970 FT 145. It has superficial cracks around the top of the pin holes that do not go all the way through the bridge and can easily be filled.

You mentioned looking for an aftermarket copy but couldn’t find a close enough one. Does this imply that a copy, if true to the original, would be acceptable? You could make one or have someone make one.

I forgot to ask: I’m under the assumption that the customer wants an exact, extremely accurate copy? Because there are many competent luthiers out there that could come very close to a copy.

Hello Tony, It’s actually my idea to see if there’s a possible one to one match of the original, but the client is happy with a replacement I found on Amazon. I have yet to install it as you and I have been chatting about potential match. If your CnC fabricators would like to send a quote, I could promise a shipment of the original bridge removed (when I get to that point…. as I haven’t yet until a viable solution has been found) and they could match, fabricate and send back? It’s an inexpensive guitar and I’m not sure how much CnC folk charge for something like this. Any ideas? Thanks again for all of the help you’ve thrown my way. Very appreciated.
