It is an obsolete TK4NT pickup. Anyone have any ideas? 3d print?

Drill correct diameter hole in the right thickness of steel and shape the rest including the legs to be peened with a file. You might have to cut the loop to get them on the tuner gear and then close and possibly braze them. Sounds like a lot of work but filing steel isn’t that time consuming?

What does the customer expect. JB weld would be messy. Can the holders for the tuner be re-peaned. Are they removable from the tuner shaft? How deep is the stripe on the nut? The slot could probably be re-routed with a jig and a router or a dremel.

MemberJune 21, 2025 at 12:10 pm in reply to: Reinstall Loose Barrel Jack on G&L AsatIf the hole needs to be enlarged to get a nut to thread from the cavity side, you could try reverse drilling using a cutter like what is used to repair bridge plates. You could also glue the jack using a reversible glue, or glue a hard wood plug in place in the hole, drill it, and recut the threads more accurately.
