Ive had pretty good luck slipping a razor blade between the pickup and the bridgeplate.

Is there an adjustment for how close the feed rollers are to the cutter ?

The glueboost dyes are not opaque, so not user error. I usually do most of my touch up with a shellac binder, or lacquer if airbrushing, and then use FnF over the top. I have had luck with the gluboost dyes on translucent PRS colors.

With Old Brown Glue, or hide glue, I would add spit instead of water. Water’s low viscosity will intermingle it with the glue and the oils from the FB and then penetrated between the lacquer and the spruce causing a dark line/edge.
Spit, in addition to having higher viscosity, has enzymes designed to break down animal protein.

I started with an Ender 3 pro and switched to a Bambu X1C. Pretty psyched on the Bambu now.

This stuff came into my world due to 3d printing. Its pretty cool, reusable and worth checking out. There are a tom of things you can 3d print to hold these in place inside a guitar Might be cool to model something for the sound-hole like the items used to humidify guitars.

Man, this whole thing needs clearly defined boundaries. Music store owners love to pawn difficult to answer questions off onto the repair guy.
As far as maintaining a rental fleet in exchange for rent, probably not a great idea. Maintaining a rental fleet is easily half of the business of renting instruments. What is rent on a basement ? Lets say it’s a grand a month. You could burn through that pretty quick with busted instruments that would be better off replaced etc.
In general, my hackles are up on this, but I could be wrong. -
I have a friend who does it that way. He also blasts the barbs off with the fret barber to prevent fb erosion.

What Paul said. I was having problems with warping and tracked it down to damp filament. I’m also finding that dried filament isn’t quite as good a freshly opened.
One last thing. What plastic ? Are you trying to print something that needs an enclosure to keep from warping ?

Not 100% sure how strong they are, but they change colors when they saturate. You can just microwave them to release the H2O.

Do you have a 3D printer ? I have an extension caul that works better than the one that comes with your version of Jaws.

I’d fill it with whatever you think is best but adhesing it in with West 105 epoxy. I’d glue the bridge on with West 105 epoxy and then add two machine screws (like on a Gibson) with washers and nuts on the bridge plate. I’d also obfuscate the screwheads with pearl dots or some such fanciness.
