There will be more work on stuff like offers and promos happening over the next while. The final shape of it is still in flux and needs some effort but there will be somewhere to centralise that stuff.

In the meantime, we’ll be posting things like the Northern Nikawa discount offer to the Content page and will update the News page (under Activity in the menu) with this and other news as it happens.

P.S. I’ve moved this to its own separate topic so it’s easier for others to see it.

Turns out it is possible to add notifications to a calendar you’re subscribed to in Google Calendars. (Instructions below from https://support.google.com/calendar/thread/61179647/i-want-event-notifications-for-a-public-shared-subscribed-calendar?hl=en)

    1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
    2. In the top right, click Settings Settings.
    3. On the left, under “Settings for my calendars,” click the calendar you want to change Calendar settings.
    4. Under “Event notifications” or “All-day event notifications”:
      • To edit a notification, choose if you’d like to receive a notification or an email. Select how long in advance you’d like to get the alert.
      • To add another notification, click Add notification.
      • To delete a notification, click Remove notification .

Reverend’s bass contour cuts bass in the same way as G&L’s ‘passive treble and bass’ circuit. I don’t have anything Reverend-specific but the attached G&L diagram might help out.

Is there anything specific you’re trying to address?

Hope it works out. If the sander has a spec plate, try to make sure your new PSU has sufficient output and matching voltage for the sander. Stay safe. 🙂

MicroMark have their own power supply that accepts that weird proprietary plug. In some circumstances, I’d recommend just getting another power supply and jury-rigging something but the MM power supply puts out a lot of amps. Don’t know for sure if the sander needs so much current but probably worth playing it safe and doing things the right way (the MicroMark way). https://www.micromark.com/The-High-Power-Transformer-4

Your mileage may vary but I probably wouldn’t worry too much about working on the back of the heel. I’d install a full-pocket shim and level out the discrepancy from the frets (since you mention there’s plenty of height). I don’t think the back of the heel will deform in the other direction after all this is done (there’s nothing to pull that area down in the same way it was pushed up) but, even if it does, any fret-side movement of the last fret or two will be in the ‘downwards’ direction.

Ah. Ok. If you use this pot wiring show in the diagram, and adapt it so the bass pot is up the other end of the guitar, I think you’ll be ok. The 1Meg your remember is the pot value — there’s often a high value used for the bass cut but I’ve used lower (and so has G&L) without any major hassle. The capacitor value is important, though. It’s a pretty low value capacitor for the bass cut. Look for a 0.0022µF (and pay attention to the number of zeros on the right of the decimal point). For the other, regular tone control, you can just use standard values.
