3-Pickup Toggle Switch?
I have a customer who has a guitar with a PRS SE with an HSH pickup setup, it has a volume, a tone and a 3 way toggle switch. He wants the switch to isolate each individual pickup. So in the back position it’s just the bridge humbucker, in the middle position it’s just the single coil, and in the up position it’s just the neck humbucker. There seems to be a couple of potential options, one being the Switchcraft EP-4369-000, the other being this:

Can anyone confirm that one or both of these switches will work for I intend to do? Thanks!

Although I don’t see how an open frame toggle can do it, I have been able to map out how a closed DPDT on-on-on switch would do the trick if the internal contact movement is the same as switches I used 20+ years ago. (I just looked one up on Amazon that uses the same internal switching.)

@amateurjon I think that could maybe work but the size of the opening for the 3-way switch may be an issue. I’ll have to look into it.

This one measures to fit a 12mm hole.

@amateurjon Is this what you had in mind? If so, I think this might work. I’m not sure what you had with the NH+ in the drawing, but if it was the neck pickup ground, I switched it to the other side which I think would work? I actually use a mini toggle switch with this arrangement in a couple of my guitar pedals which is why I’m familiar with it.

@davidrossmusicalinstruments yes, that will work perfectly fine. My original drawing was done at 1am, and my brain just put the NH ground as a constant (not on the switch.) Any and all mods are welcome and helpful.
