Will one of you fine folks tell me the thread diameter, count/pitch on a typical potentiometer used on guitars built in Asia? Cheers!

Hi @chiptait, I’ve just measured the threads on several Korean-made “Alpha” pots in my components drawer for you and they all have metric M8 threads with 0.75 pitch. I know these correspond with the original pots in all the Asian-made guitars that I work on here in Europe. In addition, it appears to be the same thread on these pots regardless of the pot body-size (i.e. “big” pots with same body-diameter as CTS pots, or the smaller diameter “mini” pot in the photo examples I’ve added here for you).
