Apologies if this has been posted already…
I have just started getting into the world of 3D printing and am looking tio start making my own 3D models – Can anyone recommend a good resource for getting my head around modelling software? I am pretty experienced with vector-based programs like Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer and was optimistically hoping to make a short jump from that to making my own models……

We have a monthly get together on zoom called 3d club where we go over stuff just like this. Do you have a sense of which modeler you’re going to use ? Here is a link to our archive of 3d clubs so far. We have a really good intro to Fusion 360 in there. Also, once you get going, you can always ask questions in the forum. It’s important to think about modeling more like learning a language, there’s no real short cut but for to jump in and stay as immersed as possible. I recommend devoting time per day and just do the time that makes sense for the rest of your life’s obligations etc.
