I just got the notice that my Quickbooks subscription rate is going up in July, which makes me think, “Is it time to move on?”

There’s a lot to like with QB, but for $38 a month plus 3% of my invoices (credit card processing fees) I’m wondering if there is a better solution?

What do my fellow indie repair shop friends use for point of sale and or bookkeeping?

  I use xero. I think all of the accounting programs will have the 3% fee. It’s 20. a month and easy to use. The help option is good with staff calling back if you have problems
