I’ve had a customer come to me wanting to electrify the guitar without any modifications to it. No drilling, routing etc. I did convince him an end pin jack would be the only option, and he was ok with that. After a little thought I thought a K&K with a microphone (K&K Mini Pro) might work, using the transducers on the six string side and the microphone on the ten string side. I have no doubt the transducers would work fine. My concern on the microphone side, if it were placed in the middle (center) of the strings, there would be avolume imbalence on the outer strings unless I could get K&K to make one with two mics. Or maybe even better in place of the microphone I could get one made with maybe 4 additional transducers to install on the ten string side. First I would like to get anyone’s thoughts about that and or any other suggestions to amplify this beauty! I included a picture of what I believe my customer said, was the original owner, and the harp guitar.
